Biography

Dr Eric McCollum is Associate Professor of Pediatric Pulmonology and International Health at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health. He has twenty years of clinical and research experience, including in Africa and Asia where he has designed, led, or co-led studies on pulse oximetry for children, digital auscultation as a respiratory diagnostic, PCV effectiveness, and bubble CPAP. Dr McCollum is a member of the WHO IMCI child pneumonia and diarrhea guideline development group, WHO Technical Support Network for PCV impact studies, and is a member of the WHO expert group pediatric chest radiograph guidelines.
