Biography

Ezieke Emeka is a public health specialist with over nine years of experience in TB/HIV programming, surveillance, data analytics, and program management. He currently serves as the Associate Director for TB/HIV on the USAID-funded ECEWS ACE-5 project in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Emeka has led impactful innovations to improve TB diagnosis, especially among children, and has significantly contributed to strengthening integrated TB/HIV services. In recognition of his dedication, he was named the 2021 Global TB Champion for his outstanding contributions to TB control in Rivers State. His expertise continues to drive measurable improvements in public health outcomes.
