Biography

Dr Lize, a holistic family health practitioner and agent of change in the HIV/AIDS / Tuberculosis field, is the principal investigator/CEO and founder of Be Part Yoluntu NPC/ Research Centre in Mbekweni, Paarl. She also serves as the project lead for the after-hours clinic for early HIV diagnosis and the holistic Youth Wellness Program. Furthermore, she provides private practice support for HIV/AIDS, TB and Palliative Care patients and is a part-time palliative care consultant and Stellenbosch University lecturer. To mobilize communities, families and individuals towards greater autonomy and wellness in the infectious disease and cancer fight for survival brings her meaning.
