Biography

Elieza Paul is a Statistician and social entrepreneur from Tanzania, currently serving as Co-founder and Managing Director of Fikrahub Co. Ltd. He has over eight years of experience in public health, data analysis, and community-based program implementation, particularly in TB, HIV, and youth empowerment. Elieza holds a Bachelor's degree in Official Statistics from the Eastern Africa Statistical Training Centre and has presented research at international conferences, including in France, Morocco, and Japan. His work focuses on translating data into actionable insights to inform policy and drive impact in underserved communities

Communicating tangible research findings to non-statisticians: A case study of Tanzania GATS-2018

The findings call for strengthened tobacco control policies, enhanced public education, and improved cessation support to reduce tobacco use and its associated respiratory disease burden eg. Tuberculosis in Tanzania however the findings have not been effectively disseminated locally and internationally. This abstract aims to communicate Findings and suggest innovative counseling and quitline to a wide community through this conference to inform policymakers, public health practitioners, and activists with actionable insights to help invest and advance tobacco control initiatives in the developing world especially in Tanzania.
