I hold a Master’s degree in Public Health – Epidemiology and have nearly 10 years of experience working in the TB field. I am deeply passionate about infectious disease research and committed to strengthening health systems in resource-limited contexts.

Key Impacts

Diagnostic accuracy of molecular testing on different respiratory specimens for TB diagnosis in children hospitalised with severe acute malnutrition

GA had the highest detection yield despite the low bacterial load characteristic of pediatric patients’ samples, explaining the limited sensitivity. Stool has higher sensitivity than NPA with limited advantage of adding NPA to stool in children hospitalized with SAM.
