Biography

Dzerlina Syanaiscara Rahari is a PhD student from Indonesia at the Department of Epidemiology, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. She is receiving the grant from Fogarty International Center of the National Institutes of Health under the project of TB/MDR-TB Research Training and Capacity Strengthening for LMIC in Southeast Asia. Her area of interest is in the topic of epidemiology of infectious disease, especially in tuberculosis and reproductive health.

Lung versus genital symptoms: Which better predicts female genital tuberculosis?

Genital symptoms can be a better predictor for FGTB than lung symptoms. FGTB should be investigated more carefully in women hospitalized with genital problems in TB-endemic areas.
