Biography

I am a professor and physician-scientist specializing in tuberculosis and lung diseases. I work at Kharkiv National Medical University in Ukraine and the Research Center Borstel in Germany. With over 15 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and teaching, I have led multiple international TB research projects in collaboration with NIH, CRDF Global, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. I have authored over 100 scientific publications and received numerous travel grants and awards. My scientific interests include TB epidemiology, drug resistance, immunotherapy, and clinical trials.
