Dr. Cissy Kityo Mutuluuza is a Ugandan physician and epidemiologist with over 20 years of experience leading HIV and TB research and clinical care. A pioneer in scaling up antiretroviral therapy in sub-Saharan Africa, she has served on national policy task forces and led numerous clinical, operational, and epidemiological studies. Her work spans HIV treatment, TB co-infection, drug resistance, and HIV cure research. Dr. Kityo brings deep expertise in clinical trial design and implementation, with a particular focus on translating innovations into real-world impact in low-resource settings.
