Biography

Christian Wejse, MD, PhD is an infectious disease specialist with expertise in tuberculosis, HIV and migrant health. He is Professor in Cross-cultural Medicine and Global Health at Aarhus University and senior consultant at the Dept of Infectious Diseases, Aarhus University Hospital. 
Dr. Wejse’s research interests include tuberculosis epidemiology and case-finding as well as HIV co-infection. Migrant health is emerging as an increasingly important field both clinically and academically, he leads a new migrant health clinic for complex patients with cross-cultural issues and leads GloHAU, the center for Global Health at Aarhus University as Professor in Cross-cultural Medicine and Global Health.
