Biography

A medical epidemiologist, he has over five years' experience in coordinating regional tuberculosis projects in West and Central Africa. Within the WARN/CARN-TB network, he has led initiatives involving 27 national programs, in collaboration with technical and financial partners such as the Union, WHO and the Global Fund. His expertise includes operational research, with a particular interest in the social protection of TB patients and the use of digital tools to improve program performance. A certified lecturer, he is also involved in the popularization of science in public health. He combines scientific rigor, strategic vision and a passion for sharing knowledge.

Cross-border TB management remains a major challenge for NTPs, with limited systems available to mitigate this impact and manage patients across different countries. There is an urgent need to put in place appropriate mechanisms for collaboration between countries and with partners.
