Biography

Dr Chishala Chabala is a lecturer at the University of Zambia, School of Medicine and a consultant paediatrician at the University Teaching Hospitals in Lusaka. He is an investigator on multinational collaborative paediatric clinical trials on tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment, paediatric HIV treatments and pneumonia. He is the vice-chair of the Child and Adolescent TB working group and has previously participated on paediatric national TB programme reviews in several African countries and contributed to the guidelines’ development group of the WHO.
