Biography

Dr. Chijioke Osakwe is a public health specialist with 35 years experience in TB control. He has worked with faith-based hospitals, German Leprosy and TB Relief Association (GLRA) and World Health Organization (WHO). He has been doing TB and TB/HIV consultancies with the Nigeria National TB and Leprosy Control Programme, the United States Agency for International Development and the Stop TB Partnership. He has also participated in National TB Prorgramme reviews in Nigeria, Kenya and Afghanistan. He is the President of Initiative for Prevention and Control of Diseases (IPCD), an organization which he founded in 2017.
