I am Public Health Physician and have worked in many disease control programs.
I work with KNCV Nigeria and serve as Cluster Lead and a senior Program manager.
We piloted patient pathway analysis to enhance matching active TB screening along service delivery points
to improve TB case detection. It is quiet enriching working n the public health space.
Key Impacts
Fostering sustainable facility-based active TB screening through human resource for health strengthening: TB LON project experience in three southern states of Nigeria
The findings highlight the positive impact of HRH strengthening on TB case notification. However, Imo state experienced a decline in facility contributions despite an increase in absolute cases notified. This suggests that additional contextual factors, such as infrastructure and social security, may influence outcomes.
