Biography

Mr Chidubem is a public health specialist with over eleven years of experience in public health program monitoring, evaluation, and research. He works with KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation Nigeria, where he leads in organizing program assessments, capacity building in monitoring and evaluation, deployment of monitoring and evaluation tools, development of manuals and guides, and knowledge management activities. His primary research interest is in infectious disease – developing and implementing methods for predicting tuberculosis (TB) epidemiology and other lung diseases across populations and communities.

Improving diagnosis of asymptomatic TB among people living with HIV using digital chest X-ray with computer-aided detection in Nigeria

Asymptomatic TB contributed 56.7% of the TB burden in this study (40 per 100 presumptive). Diagnosis of such people would have been missed if symptom-only TB screening had been applied.
