Biography

Vice President of Pulmonary Hospital at Changsha Central Hospital, specializing in drug-resistant tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment. Led sub-projects of national initiatives, including the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" Major Science Project (2013ZX10005004-002) and a municipal study on optimizing traditional Chinese medicine therapy for drug-resistant TB. Contributed to 4 national programs (e.g., infectious disease research), 1 provincial, and 2 municipal projects. Published 7 core journal papers (3 as first author) and 3 SCI articles. Experienced in clinical research management and academic leadership, currently serving as Deputy Chair of latent TB infection committee at the Chinese Medical Association.

Prevalence and associated factors of active tuberculosis among IGRA-negative population

A non-negligible proportion of active TB occurs in the IGRA-negative individuals. Occupation, weight loss, lung cavitation, pleural effusion, TST positivity, eosinopenia (<0.05×10⁹/L), and renal dysfunction may serve as independent predictors of active tuberculosis disease in the IGRA-negative population.
