Biography

Charity Femeyibor is a Master of Public Health student at the University of Ghana and a member of the Ghana National TB Voice Network. Her passion for advocacy is deeply rooted in her personal experience with TB, which she hopes no one else will ever have to endure. She is keen on advocating and encouraging people living with TB not to default as well as providing the general public an education on Tuberculosis.

The engagement of pharmacies & OTCMS in TB screening under the Global Fund GC7 intervention proved to be an effective strategy for improving early TB detection and treatment initiation in Ghana. The approach leveraged the accessibility of community pharmacies & OTCMS to bridge gaps in TB case detection and advanced timely referrals for diagnosis and care.
