Biography

Dr. Seepamore holds a PhD in social work, and lectures at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She has expertise in qualitative research methods and group work facilitation, especially in vulnerable and stigmatised populations. Her research examines health care seeking and caregiving practices for people living with HIV and TB patients. Dr Seepamore is one of the investigators in a randomised clinical trial to support adherence. Her areas of interest include HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis families working with groups and communities. She has written and published in various journals and books in relation to public health, social work and TB.
