Blessing Mushangwe is the technical director for the HIV Care and Treatment Program at ZimTTECH. She holds a bachelor of medicine and surgery degree and a master's in public health from the University of Zimbabwe. Blessing has been working with PEPFAR-funded programs for four years.
More than a third of PLHIV diagnosed with TB during the project did not have TB symptoms and were only found through the TUTT strategy. The use of additional tools for routine TB screening and testing among PLHIV can help increase TB case finding and reduce TB transmission in the country.
