Key Impacts

Navigating dual burdens: Intersectionality of TB and social stigma among transgenders, MSM, female sex workers, and people living with HIV in India: Findings from a qualitative study

TB stigma among key populations is deeply rooted in socio-cultural perceptions and intersectional identities. Targeted interventions—community-led support systems, tailored IEC campaigns, and legal safeguards—are essential to mitigate stigma and ensure equitable access to TB care and support services.
