Our spatial approach sucessfully identified operational gaps in contact management. These gaps concentrate in socially vulnerable territories, and may undermine Brazil’s progress toward TB elimination. Prioritizing these areas for active interventions can strengthen equity and impact.

TBI tests for contact screening in Brazil: A cost-effectiveness analysis
The adoption of TBSTs for screening HHCs in the Brazilian public health system would be a cost-saving strategy. Because these tests require the same infrastructure and human resources skills as TST, the tests could be readily implemented.
