Biography

PhD and a Master's degree from the Program in Public Health at the Ribeirão Preto Medicine School (FMRP/USP) and a undergraduate degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of São Paulo (USP). Currently working on a post-doctoral internship at the Ribeirão Preto Nursing School at University of São Paulo (USP)(EERP/USP), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ricardo Arcêncio, on the project “Interaction and effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on tuberculosis control in the state of São Paulo: political-social, clinical-epidemiological aspects and innovative practices”.

Digital DOTS’s expansion for TB care in Brazilian municipalities: An operational analysis

The use of VDOT in TB treatment supervision has shown potential to improve adherence, especially in vulnerable populations, and, as study progress, more data will be available on the VDOT effectiveness and its impact on Brazilian public health.
