Targeting the golden years: Finding missing people with TB among the elderly through targeted outreaches in Siaya County, Kenya

This initiative highlights the elderly as a key population for targeted outreach efforts. By combining targeted mobilization, symptomatic and radiological screening and diagnostics, previously undiagnosed TB cases were successfully identified. These findings emphasize the importance of scaling similar interventions in other regions to enhance early TB detection among the elderly.
