Biography

Dr. Mulindwa Alex is a Family Physician and Public Health Specialist with over 18 years of experience in epidemiology, disease surveillance, and health system strengthening. As an Epidemiologist at Uganda's Ministry of Health, he leads TB and Leprosy surveillance and outbreak response efforts. He has contributed to NTLP’s programmatic implementation of the NSP and authored research protocols for WHO/TDR-funded TB digital projects. Dr. Mulindwa holds an MMed in Family Medicine, MSc in Public Health, and a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery. His expertise spans program management, outbreak response, and capacity building.
