Biography

Dr. Akshita Gupta is a clinical microbiologist and infectious disease researcher with an MD in Microbiology from KMC, Manipal, India, and a PhD in T-cell Immunology from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. She brings over four years of combined clinical and diagnostic laboratory experience from India. Currently based at the Institute of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, LMU Munich, Germany, her work focuses on disease modelling to enhance the diagnosis and management of paediatric tuberculosis.
