Biography

Adhin Bhaskar is a Biostatistician currently serving as a Scientist 'C' at ICMR-NIRT in Chennai. Adhin with Ph.D. in Biostatistics and has published over 30 research papers and conducting numerous workshops. He has been recognized with several awards, including the Smt. Surajkali Jain Award from Indian Society for Medical Statistics. Adhin has experience in predictive modelling, longitudinal model, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses of DTA. He is a member of Cochrane infectious Disease group and authored four Cochrane DTA reviews. He is also part of the evidence synthesis team which contributed to the upcoming WHO guidelines on molecular diagnosis on TB

TB associated mortality rate and case fatality ratio in India: A scoping review

The high mortality and case fatality rates indicate the need for further strengthening of surveillance and conducting more well-designed studies to provide deeper insights into the dynamics of TB mortality, to support in designing tailored interventions to reduce the disease burden in India.
