Key Impacts
Effectiveness of strengthening frontline workers in enhancing TPT uptake among child contacts
Strengthening the capacity of the contact tracers significantly improved and increased TPT uptake in eligible children 0 - 14 years identified in the private and public health facilities. The observed increase in TPT uptake underscores the effectiveness of capacity-building interventions in enhancing pediatric TB prevention outcomes. These findings suggest that strengthening the skills of frontline health workers can substantially improve TPT coverage and contribute to more effective TB control in child contacts.
