Effectiveness of systematic screening of TB amongst key vulnerable populations using AI-enabled X-ray machines in Lagos State, Nigeria

Systematic screening using AI-enabled X-ray machines significantly improved early TB detection and treatment initiation rates amongst key vulnerable populations. AI-enabled Chest X-ray machines in active TB case findingis an effective approach to reducing TB burden. Efforts should focus on deploying digitalized A.I-enabled X-ray machines to high burden settings, especially amongst key vulnerable populations.
