Biography

A PhD student at Stellenbosch University, working as a junior researcher and young social scientist at Desmond Tutu TB Centre. My work revolves around understanding TB/respiratory illnesses and HIV among paediatrics and young people in low-income settings. I have been involved in studies that
assess the acceptability of new devices around point-of-care HIV treatment adherence, endothelial dysfunction, pulse oximeters, stethoscopes,
and novel TB drugs for children and adolescents. My ambition is to dedicate my career to developing holistic interventions that
mitigate the negative impact of HIV and TB for children and their families.
