Biography

Abdullah is a public health professional with 13 years of experience working on the development and enhancement of data-driven public health interventions. He has extensively worked on strengthening disease surveillance and improving data management systems for AIDS, TB, and Malaria. He has also supported the setting up of an Artificial Intelligence-based program that utilizes predictive analytics to identify TB hotspots in Pakistan. Abdullah is leading a project at Mercy Corps to digitalize all the Recording and Reporting Tools of the TB program and make the TB-PPM Model 100% paperless in Pakistan.

The successful implementation of DHIS2 under the PPM-1 model has significantly improved TB case registration, data quality, and reporting efficiency. With proven impact across 111 districts, this digital model will now be expanded to PPM-2 and PPM-3, further strengthening TB surveillance and private sector integration in Pakistan.
